Blood tests can be performed from birth if medically necessary. Our team uses adapted techniques (micro-draws, fine needles).
This is normal! Our team is trained to reassure. You can ask for numbing cream (EMLA) to apply 1 hour before. Bring their comfort object, distract them during the draw.
Most common are: CBC (anemia, infections), iron and ferritin (fatigue), vitamin D (growth), allergy tests (food, respiratory), urinalysis (UTI).
